Benzoyl Peroxide is a common ingredient in over the counter medications. It has been found that it works very well, especially when combined with regular cleansing and moisturizing. Antibiotics, salicylic acid and sulfur are some of the other acne cures. There are many people who prefer to try vitamins or natural herbal remedies. Today, these are all easily available as acne cures. Vitamin A and Niacin is recommended, and also Zinc tablets. You an even try a number of home remedies. Some sufferers apply orange peel crushed with water or lemon juice, while others apply grated cucumber leaves or crushed garlic cloves. Another acne cure is coriander or mint juice mixed with a little bit of turmeric powder. Another method that you can try is an overnight facemask made from mashed up fenugreek leaves, to be washed off when you wake next day. Tea Tree Oil is said to be another acne cure. You can also bathe in a soothing hot tub of Epsom salts. You can go for any of the methods of acne treatment, but you have to be very careful of picking at the skin. If you do that you will undo all your treatment. Another thing you should be aware of is not to scrub the acne with any harsh material. If you are careful about these things there are greater chances of your acne getting cured.
